Guest guest
You may want to join the Urine Therapy list and search their archives. There are a great many posts about Candida there. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/urine_therapy As far as using DMSO for Candida I am not aware of specifics but it is a fungus and DMSO can carry Colloidal Silver or other known herbs that kill fungus into the tissue. You can tincture various herbs with DMSO if you can obtain the raw plant material and then take that orally or by enema. Candida resides in the lower GI so enemas or colemics are a good way to reach the site of infection. http://www.hps-online.com/ has info on using colema boards to implant liquids higher up into the colon than is easily reached by enema. One of the issues with oral remedies is that they often do not reach this part of the gut wall insufficient concentration. Enemas and colemics do. The diet never worked for me, nor did the supplements, but in combination they are likely helpful adjuncts. The trace mineral molybdenum is helpful with the die off reaction. And of course you may be aware of the need to take very high count probiotics that you find in the refrigerator section of the health food store. They are much more effective and can be specific to various parts of the gut if you read labels. I also highly recommend Allergies and Candida by Rochlitz if you do not already have it. In this book you will find meridian balancing techniques for integrating left right and brain body meridians that seem essential to healing candid and other dysbiosis. Rochlitz goes into some detail about this. I can not over emphasize how important this aspect is for those who get severe overgrowth syndrome. Please share what you do find out with the list. And also consider a search of this list archives. Guest guest
Hi, We've used just about all strengths of DMSO at our home for about every imaginable owie, itch, bite, wound, etc. imaginable. I seldom use it full strength anymore. The 70% gel we use more often than the 99% liquid as THAT is quite strong and drying. Our usual use is the liquid diluted about 1/2 with aloe vera gel lotion (from Dollar General .. it is the generic equivalent of Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Vera lotion. This does have some other preservative in it too, BHA I believe, but don't recall). However, if you need to be an aloe gel or juice purist, get some from either the plant & blend OR from a Health Food Source. Lily of the Desert is a good brand. To make it even more effective one can add some Lugol's solution iodine. OH ... whilst on the subject ... tradiitonal kefir made from traditional kefir grains and the resulting probiotic repopulation of the gut will defeat the candida too and prepare your system for much greater immunity and health. Go to http://users.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage and his other information pages OR Good_Kefir_Grains for Marilyn's forum on traditional kefirs. Best wishes ...
