I just did a quick search of posts to see what info I could find on

Tinnitus. My BIL is experiencing Tinnitus which is getting worse. I

found a post saying that you have experience with this and have

acquired a ton of info on it. Have you found anything that helped?

Mara-

First, tinnitus has a bewildering array of causes and therefore a

bewildering array of treatments. Mine is from antibiotic ototoxicity. It is

possible that my hearing was prepared for damage by loud noise in trucking,

construction, and loud music, but the straw that broke the camel's back was

ABX toxicity.

Since I am able to live most of the time without focusing on my tinnitus, it

has always had to take a back seat to my more pressing problems. Nothing I

have done yet has done anything permanent for my tinnitus, but three things

either have caused a very short term elimination of it (minutes to hours at

most), or a change in it (magnets), but it has always gone back to its norm.

Have I found anything to deal with it better or more permanently? Maybe, but

I don’t know it yet. Yes, I have accrued a lot of info about it, and maybe

the cure is in there somewhere.

Right now I'm leaning towards a " subtle energy " device that should be cheap

and easy to build, but I've just got too much on my plate right now to build

it. If and when I do have any success, you can bet your bottom dollar that I

will announce it on every group that I'm on.
