Guest guest
Hi Just spotted this message, sorry. Have been away for a month, have only recently signed up to the group again anyway, and don't have the original mail to know who sent it. You probably got this from Tesa's guai/fms site; it is my recipe and I am the one who made it. Unless it was on DMSO archives. When I first started my health research a few years ago, I got to Tesa's site, got some Guai from Canada, and mixed it up as a topical substance because of the discomfort from oral guai, and also because I noticed from posts on a couple of sites that topical guai was very effective for FMS and other conditions. I have meant to mix up some more for a very long time, and the silly thing is that it is just not having a little jar spare to mix and store it in that has held me up. I did find it effective, but as the guai protocol requires one to avoid salicylates on the skin, it kind of faded into the background for me. Daddybob, I think the MME is a typo - it should actually be MMS. The mix is what I worked out from the CS group originally. The emu oil is nice to mix the guai powder into, but I am not all that sure that I really would want emu oil taken in to my body too deeply. On the other hand, I have not checked the atomic weight (or whatever we call it, sorry Garnet, it's the memory!) molecular weight, probably, and I even lost the web address to find it and never located it again. So I don't know whether the emu oil melecules would actually be small enough to travel through the tissues. I have played with the idea of using coconut oil for the first mix. I know that is probably against guai lore, but I don't intend to avoid sals on skin any more, and do approve of VCNO totally. I find that I need a little liquid after mixing the powder into the oil to get the undissolved particles to blend in. Otherwise it feels gritty. The liquid has those ingredients because I already had those mixed up for application to eyes, nose, etc. I won't go on at the moment, but if there is any particular thing you want to know, feel free to come back and I will try to keep a better eye on the DMSO mail. Best wishes Rowena in Australia Re: new to DMSO >I found a "recipe" using emu oil, DMSO, MME and CS to make a topical formof guaifenisin. Ifany of you have any experience or suggestions I'm listening.<Actually, we're probably listening to you;>)What is this recipe supposed to do and what is MME? And can you post theactual recipe?Daddybob
