I can understand the dilemma coz i have to make presentations

etc........represent my company cant go overboard but would also like to keep my

indianness( especially when i need to make a statement)..............this is

what i do............usually i go for a basic coloured trousers and teem it up

with typical Zari Long lehenga blouses........usually wear black pants,

black spagheti and team up with maroon zari lehenga top which i keep on as a

jacket...........works out fine..........you look ......... the professional

that you want to be but at the same time ................keep it a lil different

that gives you the wow factor................so if she has front buttoned kurta

tops....match it up with plain trousers and then get a basic plain top to show

it off............another combi of mine is white pants , white tank top and a

peacock blue jacket of tussar ( indian silk with typical

prints)...............so if u want to keep the suit keep the same

but team it up with another jacket kind of silk, or tussar one

..............gets you noticed and you look different( wow

factor).............you could get these at fabindia or gurjaris or maybe even

shoppers or westside..........i think bhopal has some of these( or

all)..............another fashion statement of mine in the firang crowd is the

stoles( silk shawls)..........keeps you warm and looks colourful.........so i

hope Divya woo''s the firang crowd and makes us all proud.................would

really like to see her photos.............please carry more than a

fleece.........since we are not used to the windy weather it gets quite

cold......pack in a pair of stockings comes in handy if you start feeling cold (

i carry slacks).......pack in a small medicine box with all the

prescriptions..............send some food too, dry types easy to

nibble.........you tend to get more hungry in US (personal

experience)...........

Why has everyomne gone quiet-Shyam I suppose is on his

holidays Ravin-have you joined him?Aajkal sab chup hain.Also

Gursharan-Malini- Prabha-Renuka. ..Anyway I just thought kya likhen koi khs

khabar nahi hai-yahan mausam is fab -the elusive British summer is here

hurray-so weekends are picnics on the beach.And icecreams on the

promenade.Grt .My cousin is coming visiting from Delhi with her kids so

shall be busy this week-sightseeing- now I send people to wander around

London by themselves-am stocked up with all maps etc-you can go to Madam

Tussauds only that many times-SRK or not..Have just started reading the new

Bond novel-cant wait to see the movie.And heard the new Coldplay

album-which I got Atul ashis fathers day gift-its good.What is the rest of

you reading/listening to/watching? Have not seen Indiana yet and also

want to see Dasavart..the new Kamalhasan movie-its got some mixed reviews

-Anyone seen it yet.And anyone checked out Aamir-it got a good

review??Malini want to come to Brighton for a trip?C'mon guys get in
