Marlynn,

YES. Many of the moms have a history of miscarriages, as well as

CFIDS, lupus, fibromyalgia, allergies, etc....

The other things you mentioned...

runny stools

problems with regulation of temp (our son has sweaty hands all of the time)

photosensitivity (our son used to scream when we turned the lights on)

unexplained rashes (our son's rash just went away after 2 YEARS)

bright red cheeks and ears (our son gets this when he eats something he is

sensitive to)

This is all connected!!

Many of us can relate.

These things are common among our kids.

The good news is that after being under Dr. Goldberg's care many children

get these things under control. We have been thrilled to see the progress

in our son... quite amazing, really. Best of luck!

Hi Marlynn,

My sons runny stools, unexplained rashes, red cheeks and ears all went away

after about a year on the GFCF diet. We also cut out most foods high in

salycilates (all except the organic ketchup, that one's a toughie)So I can

relate to some of your problems. Is your son on any kind of diet?

Doris Rapp's " Is This Your Child? " is a wonderful resource for identifying

food and environmental sensitivities/allergies. My son made a tremendous

amount of progress with just a restricted diet. He was an absolute maniac

(endless crying and aggression) until we did an elimination diet and

realized that this behavior was triggered by meat preservatives and

nitrites/nitrates. Since then we've eliminated a lot of other foods that

have made a big difference in his behavior, but nothing was like discovering

his sensitivity to cured/preserved meats.

I got a used copy of this book for just $5 at Amazon.com--it's the best

investment I've ever made!
