Guest guest
I am so glad that nobody thought I was nuts. I was so excited yesterday it took everything I had not to drop everything and get online to tell you all about my experience. I did set up an appt. for today. He is going in on Sept. 4th. I had an appt. for myself that day but I called and they just blocked out some extra time for him. I will gladly give up some of my time as long as he is willing to go in. He did tell me that he was afraid to find anything else out. He said it always seems as though the more people try to take care of themselves and get better the worse they become, the more they find that is wrong. That happened with his dad. His dad went in for some shoulder pain and found out that he had lung cancer and died within a year. I will keep you all updated on his progress. Who knows maybe someday he will take my place here in the group! Heidi, you mentioned that I am giving you all the point of view from " the other side " of the fence. The family or spouse's side. I hope that it helps anyone that needs it. My intentions when I joined this group was to get support for myself. I really hope that I did help someone. It is hard to understand what someone is going through when you don't have the same disese. Everyone needs to remember that no matter hard it may be, if a loved one is willing to help...TAKE IT! We are in pain for you, maybe not in as much pain, but we want to be here for you! Grateful that I found you all, Keri in MI
