Guest guest
Hi Stacey, Sorry this is a bit late, I’m behind on the messages. I just wanted to say that I admire your courage for doing something about that guy. I think it’s amazing how much your son trusts you, most kids wouldn’t tell their parents something like this. You are a wonderful mother. You did the right thing. We do love you so please don’t feel alone in this. It would be great if you could join Parents Without Partners, even if it’s just to meet a few friends in the same boat as you. I don’t believe there is any way that a loving God would “punish” his children. I feel that God is like a parent to us. Just think of it like this: You love Wyatt unconditionally and with all your heart, this is how God (however you wish to think of him/her/) is said to love us. Can you imagine “punishing” Wyatt with a terrible disease because he didn’t do something you considered important? I’m sure the answer is no. Those “rules” to live by are created by man in God’s name. I really can’t believe he would want his children to stay in miserable situations like an unhappy marriage just to please him, I’m sure he thinks it’s daft to expect it! Think of that poem Footprints (I love that poem)... now imagine God punishes us as these people/churches believe, well I suppose then instead of picking us up and carrying us through our trials when we don’t have the strength (e.g. a divorce ...) he just whacks us over the head with a pole and chucks us in the sea?? Doesn’t make sense to me. Sorry to blab on but I hope this makes sense. ((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))) for you and Wyatt, I hope he’s feeling better. It’s very cool that he shares his birthday with Elvis – tell him he’s “the KING”! :-) I hope your remicade infusion makes you feel like dancing on water! :-) Love and hugs, Heidi _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
