Guest guest
Hi Friends, I don't have good news to report on Deb today. Her white count has inched up slightly higher still and the Dr. thinks the sepsis is affecting her brain. Since she's having trouble eating, they're putting in a feeding tube tomorrow. Also, they're putting in a port (I don't know the proper terminology for it) surgically so they can give her IV antibiotics longer term. She said she was told they are probably going to give the antibiotics to her for 6 weeks. Deb didn't sound so good today, and I'm very concerned. I know everyone is praying for her, but if everyone could increase their prayers even more (!) it might be a good time to do so. Heidi, I did pass on your personal concern, as well as mentioning yours again, Al. She really appreciates everyone's concern and prayers, and said there aren't words for how much everyone's friendship means to her. She said it's fine for me to call, so I'm going to give her a call each day. If anyone wants me to pass something on to her, just let me know. Love and hugs, Carol
Guest guest
Hi Carol: Thanks so very much for your constant updates on Deb - I am very worried for her also; sepsis is scary. I hope that the antibiotics begin their work soon and her white count begins to lower. This must be so hard on her family - please pass along my regards to them and Deb - and let them know they are in my prayers. Guest guest
Dear Carol...prayed at 6pm (Oregon) for our Debs. Will keep her before the Lord. Please tell her I love her and to be a " Patient patient. " : ) She knows my silly sense of humor. And thank you for all the updates Carol. They are truly appreciated. I hope you feel better very, very soon. Love & Hugs.... Tess
Guest guest
Hi Carol, Thanks for the update. It saddens and concerns me terribly though. What a horrible thing to go through for both her and her family. Please pass on my well wishes and let her know that I miss her terribly. I will be praying for her at every chance that I get. There are no words to describe the sorrow and worry that I feel for her and the family. I hope that she makes a turn for the better soon.
