Here's a helpful list.............. http://www.drkaslow.com/html/oxalates.htmlBonnie Juettner wrote: Thanks for the link, LeeAnn, that was fascinating. Makes me feel better about my own diet (according to Western science I'm courting osteoporosis by not taking calcium supplements and not eating dairy). But I'm still worried about my kids...my 4-year-old will eat carrots, but not every day. She won't eat broccoli or any leafy greens.

If I do succeed in getting her to drink juiced kale, that should help a lot, but I'm still skeptical that I'll get her to do that...My 9-year-old is much better and will eat all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Still, she doesn't care for broccoli, carrots or any very dark green leafy vegetable. On the other hand, they're still both growing like weeds, so maybe I shouldn't worry. Actually, in the year after we cut back on dairy (except for occasional 6-week CF experiments, we haven't eliminated it altogether), my 4-year-old jumped onto a higher curve on her height chart... Dear Jeannie,

Thanks - but no, he's not on Miralax. He only took it briefly once. It didn't really help - probably because of the cause of his problems.

His GI problems and urinary problems are from his muscle spasms - they spasm from above pushing down with pressure, then refuse to release from below ( = lots of pain). His GI and urologist want to inject botox into his internal muscles/sphincters to help. We really really don't want to do that (we are not fond of botox at all). So we are hoping the magnesium actually helps the muscles internally to be calmer, work better. He took it before for his muscles as a whole (helps tremor, etc), but got off it when he was ill and never got him back on it.

Thank you!

Sharry, Aidan's mom

Wow, I'd stay away from Botox, it's a neurotoxin, too bad they can't figure out what's causing it, instead of just trying to stop the blinds from shaking per say...........I'd try a Chiropractor, many of them before I choose anything and maybe natural medicineChad & Sharry Grasmick wrote: Dear Jeannie, Thanks - but no, he's not on Miralax.
