From what I remember you can take anywhere from 1/2 to equal amounts of mag as calcium. YOu will know when you have reached your tolerance level when you get diahreah. There have been many times that I have taken no cal, but have taken mag because we usually get way more cal in our diets and almost no mag. Does that make since? It is almost 2 am. I am trying to find ways to make some money and I just happened to check my email. I may not be making any since. Just let me know.Susie ~Jennie wrote: Calcium can be

I RECENTLY HAVE BEEN TRYING MAGNESIUM AND IN THE LAST 2 DAYS,I HAVE GONE SOME SO I AM GOING TO TRY IT MORE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I TAKE 400MGM AND DO YOU THINK I CAN INCREASE IT AS I TAKE 1200 CALCIUM EACH DAY. I HEARD THAT MAGNESIUM IS GOOD FOR YOU AND MY MULTIVITAMIN CONTAINS VERY LITTLE. AS FAR AS MY MOUTH TODAY IT WAS TERRIBLE AND YESTERDAY IT WASN'T AS BAD. ITS A PUZZLE AS SOME DAYS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS AND NO MIRALAX FOR MONTHS NOW AND I STILL HAVE IT AND IT NEVER GOES COMPLETELY AWAY AND LIKE I SAID ONE DAY IT GETS BETTER AND THE NEXT DAY ITS BAD. I WILL SEE A SPECIALTIST ON THURSDAY. I'VE TRIED

GOING OFF MEDS,FOOD,TOOTHPASTE,MOUTHWASHES,EVERYTHING BUT STAND ON MY HEAD. THE ONE THING I WILL MENTION TO THE SPECIALISTS IS THAT I HAVE CROWNS AND CAPPED TEETH AND COULD IT BE FROM WHAT THESE ARE MADE FROM. ALSO I HEARD THAT ONE MAY NEED HORMONES BUT I DON'T WANT TO GO THERE. ALSO LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION? I TRIED ALL KINDS OF MAGNESIUM AND THE ONLY ONE THAT SEEMS TO BE HELPING SOME IS CALLED AMINO ACID CHELATED MAGNESIUM. I WAS TOLD ITS MAG GLYCINATE. I WAS SUFGGESTED IT BY ONE OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS GROUP. SHE ALSO SUGGESTED NATURAL CALM BUT I CAN'T TAKE MAG CITRATE AS IT TEARS MY STOMACH UP AND SOME OF THE OTHE MAGS DID NOT HELP. BUT THANKS FOR THE TIP ON MINERAL OIL BUT I WILL NOT TAKE IT FOR MANY REASONS. THANKS MARGJeanie Ward <dreamjeaniesbcglobal (DOT) net> wrote: Marg, If your mouth sore is truely from Miralax then Mineral oil will irritate it, it probably will anyway because of it's chemical make-up, but more so if it was originally caused by miralax because it's in the family of petrochemicals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petrochemical Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Calcium and mag ballance each other. Cal tightens the muscles and mag relaxes them (this includes the heart muscle and you have had a heart attack in the past). When a person injest more cal than is needed and less of what is needed of mag you get constipation, tight muscles, heart beats hard, chest tightens, different thing-over time. To relax these things (and your nerves) up the mag and lessen the cal. Does that make since? It is almost 2 am. I am trying to find ways to make some money, and I just happened to check my email.
