Hi

I did Kineret injections for 5 months with unfortunately no success. I do not

know if there is much success with it. I have Medicare which does not pay for

it, and so I asked Amgen the makers of Kineret to apply to their patient

assistance program. As a result I received the medication and injector free

of charge. I believe it usually runs about $1000.00 per month otherwise.

Can't help but wonder if they know enough about what side effects these new

meds leave us with??

Hope that helps

Joanne

Ok thanks guys...I think I will stick with achy joints LOL. I only took

Enbrel for 6 months and didn't notice any changes aside from my bank account

dwindling. I guess I need to live with the fact that I am most likely

always going to be achy and crackling. One can always hope to run a marathon

can't they? If only I could have done that before RA set in :)
