Guest guest
Kathy, I don¹t know if I agree with this. I was a pot head in the early 70¹s for several years. When I was in college and took anatomy & physiology and learned some of it¹s effects, I cut way back. Then I had a minor car accident and messed up my knee. That started the chain of reactions that has put me where I am today. Who can say if my immune system wasn¹t altered and that is why my bruised knee developed into RA? I¹ve stopped beating myself up over it. It¹s to counterproductive to put blame anywhere. I¹d rather use my limited energy on life and coping. I can¹t go back and change anything. My thoughts are if I smoked it today, it will relieve a lot of pain and help my sleeping problem. But the fact that it is known to contribute to schizophrenia, which is what my brother had, I¹ll steer clear of it. I hope you have a nice weekend. a > In a message dated 8/29/02 7:15:50 PM Central Daylight Time, > paula54@... writes: > > >> > I¹ve often wondered if smoking it is what lowered my immunity and messed up >> > my immune system.
