Health Insurance and Strikes

Hey, I forgot who asked about it, but I sent a LINK to a site that

talked about coverage during a strike.

I also asked my Ex-husband, who is vice-pres. of a well known union and

he told me this:

" If we go on strike then the company will not pay any of our

insurance. We will have to pay the whole amount to keep it up. If we

don't

then when we come back then the insurance company has the option to

re-insure us and cover any pre-existing illnesses. I hope this helps. "
