when my hubby got stationed in colorado we had a newborn and didnt have the

luxery of knowing which way was up in col.springs .... we are in san

antonio,tx and got an apartment out of the yellow pages ... my huby was lucky

enough to get a bunk mate who had just transfered out of fort carson and

didnt throw out his yrllow pages but the guy hadnt beenoff base much and

couldnt tell us what area we should look at so we said ok lets call this one

and it hapened to be one that was 6 miles from base so woohoo ..we stayed at

that one for a little over a year till we found one closer and safer......

so dont worry ... i did find out however that you can go through an

apartment finder or locator in your own town and they will help you ofcourse

because they get paid by the complex to have you sent there.....

Actually, we have found an agency that specializes in finding appartments for people like me. We also buy all the newspapers and look through the classified adds.

I'm lucky because I used to live in Montreal, and I know exactly where are the best parts to live in that city. I also go there very often so I know my way around.
