Guest guest
Another case for ya'll to consider . . New pt - not come in yet so the information is limited. Pt coming to me for a different perspective 37 yo male fit HX of prostatitis 10 yrs ago with lots of abx - believes it faded away father than abx curing it. Spermatocele - to be removed in Jan '09 along with a vasectomy Recent DX of Hashimotos - no obvious symptoms, dx per MD biopsy after finding nodules - labs pending per MD - found on appointement for the other recent diagnosis of pre-diabetes (technically not diabetic but Hgb A1C 7.5% and fasting blood sugar 138) again , more labs pending. My thoughts are that this is autoimmune in nature, not to be spot treated with thyroid meds and or glucose meds etc (at least not long term) and that this is more about his sequestering his discharges. Any philosophical ideas - I'm not sure which system to start with - the gut I guess. Thanks folks - this is very helpful for me Willette RN ND Maine
