Guest guest
Pete--so glad you made your dream happen! And wow--moving into summer! Happy, Happy holidays!!!! --Warmly, "Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph." ~ Haile Selassie This email and any attachments may contain confidential information and it is intended for the addressee only. My trainingschedule for the coming year will be much less aggressive than the 180days of travel (roughly) I have been doing over the past severalyears. I hope to make a trip to Europe for training, one to Australiaand the Pacific Rim area and two to the US in the coming year. The first trip is scheduled for January/February of 2007 to allow meto attend my favorite of the big conferences on NF, the FutureHealthWinter Brain conference in Palm Springs. We have workshops currentlyscheduled in Dallas (before) and in Los Altos Hills, CA (near SanFrancisco) following Winter Brain. I expect to hit Seattle, perhapsthe Baltimore/Philadelphia area and Atlanta (family in those areas),so setting up a training in any of those areas would be easy if thereis interest. Any of the other groups that have been interested insetting up workshops should contact Foxxcafebongo (DOT) net to schedule. If we can get at least 6 participants per workshop, I am happy totrain. Ideally 8-12 is even better, and I don't usually do more than12, in order to keep the hands-on focus of these trainings.Professional and lay trainers are welcome to attend. Foxx can givethe details to anyone who thinks they might like to set something inmotion.I have been very gratified to read Dr. Sharrie's and 'sposts about the TLC Assessment over the past few days. I've beenaround Sharrie enough to know that she is not kidding when she talksabout being a skeptic, and I know has also worked with avariety of systems. That they find the TLC to be useful and accurateis great news. Both of them have taken the workshops that focus onhow to read the assessment and develop training plans from it. Whilethere are trainers who find it useful without the workshops, I thinkmost who take them agree that they get a lot more information from theassessment after training.I'm developing a workshop on training multiple clients on the samemachine at the same time, which will be available later in 2007. Fornow, however, the Levels 1-3 workshops, BrainPrime and the Trainers'Practicum workshops can be found athttp://www.brain-trainer.com/workshops/ and there is a link on thatpage to the schedule for existing workshops as well for those who areinterested. So for now, greetings from the south of Brazil (where it is ripeninginto summer). I'll continue to be active on the brain-trainer list, continue working to get the assessment manual and the workshop DVD'savailable, and look forward to seeing those of you who wish to attendor sponsor workshops in the coming year.Pete-- Van Deusenpvdtlc @gmail.comhttp://www.brain-trainer.com305/251-0337The Learning Curve, Inc.
