Hi everyone!

I am so happy that Debs is doing better. I will continue to pray as I know

everyone else will be doing also. Is it going to 9:00 everyday for our

collective prayer? And Carol, I was able to phone in Debs name to the temple

this morning. She's in good hands.

Tess, I will keep you in my thoughts about your son. My oldest daughter and I

have had our ups and downs and though we are not completely back as we were when

she was a child, she has grown up and is much more respectful to me. It's a

hard thing to go through when you put so love and time into trying to raise them

right and they shut you out from their lives.

Kathe, you are right the Mc House is San Diego is a good one. Though I

never stayed in it, I was community chairperson for the telephone company

Pioneers and one of things that I did was to collect unsaleable or surplus or

slightly damaged(repairable) toys from Playco (I had a truck in those days) and

made sure that Mc House got a fair share when they were

distributed. I live in San Diego and spent many an hour at Children's when my

daughter was born 3 months premature and several times over the following 2

years when she would develope pneumonia. So that was one of the places I chose

to make sure they had plenty of toys. You mentioned you live in the high desert,

would that be north of LA or up aroung Victorville or Barstow? I also worked 10

years as an Administrative Assistant for Blue Cross for the captive agents in

San Diego County before they closed their offices.

June: My prayers are with your granddaughter. She is in God's hands and she

will get better - how can she not - with all the prayers going

heavenward...... " where more than one are gathered in My name...... " You are

being kept in mind too, in order to have the strength to get through this.

I am feeling somewhat better today, never really 100%, but better. My grandson,

Richie, though is another story. He got up this morning feeling fine and had a

fairly good day but when I picked him up after work, he started complaining that

his throat hurt. By the time we arrived at home(5 minutes away), all he wanted

to do was go to bed. He has been in there nearly 4 hours. I've given him

Motrin and am hoping it will do for him again tonight what it did for him last

night. This is the sweetest, most lovable, active, child you would want to see.

It really hurt's to see him this way. The virus has been going around all the

kids he has been playing with. I thought he was going to be lucky but evidently

not.

Must close this novella and go to bed or I will never be able to get up in the

morning. My hugs, love, and thoughts to you all. Jan in CA
