Guest guest
HI EVERYONE, I had a ortho appt today, changed by daughter's school, went to the allergist, and went to the pharmacy so I am just now getting to emails so I decided to write one so you all didn't get too many dumped at one time. and Carol...When I am in a really bad flare, I wear a Duragesic patch for 72 hours...it is transdermal containing 2.5 mg fentanyl. It really kicks out the pain but I don't use it all the time because if you do I think you have to slowly decrease usage. Carol, I am glad to hear you are feeling better. Do antibiotics make your RA worse? It seems like I am always taking them due to microplasma and sinus. ...I called my oral surgeon who did 2 of my TMJ surgeries and found out that he had retired (late 40's...must be nice). I made an appt with the dr that took over his patients. My jaw is dislocating again and I am having a lot of pain, headaches and numbness. You may be clenching your jaw at night and that could be causing your symptoms. Is there any grinding or locking? Go see an oral surgeon and get a pantaram xray (sp?). When I am feeling very stressed I find myself clinching my jaw. If that is the case, you can get a night guard...they do help. ...Congrats...I hope that the Remicade is successful for you! Lynn...I am so sorry that you have to go through this again. When I had my colon surgery, I was very scared. Just remember, when you go in, they can't see us...but we are all there with you. I know how difficult this surgery is and I hope that once you are over the initial recovery...you will feel wonderful. I will keep you in my prayers. Does it make you feel like a little girl when you talk to her knowing that until she saw you bring Wyatt in, in her memories you are still the child? has several groups that he plays with...Tues. - alternative metal rock - no name as of yet; Sat. - a country western band (and he doesn't like country music) and also a blues band on no kind of schedule. He did have a band called the 722's and they played southern rock. The last I heard of our voodoo for understanding dolls...Carol is in charge of the prototype and setting it up as non-profit goes to Louise? I'm sorry but I can't remember who wrote and told me that they did that for a living. It is amazing that our members could probably provide any service anyone would require. If we lived in the same place, we would have a hell of a barter system. Kathy in Ill...It really is very hard to live with the questions as to what our diagnosis is. My ortho told me today that I need to continue taking Bextra. He doesn't think I need the sulfazine. I am going to take it for the initial 6 weeks and if it helps, I will continue to see the Rheumy. He said that I have degenerative changes in all of my joints and that there isn't much that can be done about it other than when the time is right, replace those joints. He wants me to see a back ortho about the SI Joint problems because he felt there could be nerve encroachment from the bone scan results. He also said I should see a pain management dr. I now have appts coming up with TMJ doc, Back ortho, and pain management. WOULD ON OF THEM, PLEASE HELP? I am tired of going to the dr and still feeling terrible! Tess...I think it is just human nature to process our immediate conclusions but the sign of a fair being is one who gives it a chance to be different. a and ...Great articles you have been sending out. Thanks. Debs...You are so amazing! We continue to pray for your rapid recovery. Al is not taking charge of those cabana boys who are just running wild while you are away. Al...I'm sorry...I just had to tell Debs that you aren't doing a very good job keeping those boys in line. Hope you are feeling well. __________________________________________________
