Guest guest
I've not had full blown 'rhoids. I have had hemorrhoidal tissues and had a long problem with it. I never found anything consistently good for it until I started doing the Carey Reams Lemon Water Protocol nearly every day. It's not that she should do that, the single most important thing is that she needs more fresh vitamin c from some high-natural source of fruit or juice. It must be fresh not canned. There are a lot of things that will help and heal this, but at it's very root, it is scurvy. Daddybob
Guest guest
After doing a good deal of research on hemorrhoids, it seems on the basis of my limited search and experience that bioflavanoids, and the herbs stone root and butcher's broom, both of which can be found in health stones in extracted form are very useful. In terms of the bioflavanoids, high doses of rutin (I'd recommend a go slow approach in terms of dosage) of up to several thousand mg. have been recommended, and I've found that at times a sudden sharp decrease in the hemorrhoidal pain takes place. Swanson sells a product called DiosVein, which contains the bioflavanoid hesperidin and disomin, which, I believe is a micronized form of a bioflavanoid. Novartis makes an excellent product composed of micronized bioflavanoids, but both the tablet and the cream versions are unavailable in this country. It is available in Germany, with the cream available over the counter, and the tablets by prescription. The above are the safest remedies I know of. Also, painless, non-surgical methods are being advertised; as well as the traditional surgical methods. I don't have any experience with them, but the painless ads seem promising. Some have found that the Preparation H ointments and pads are useful. There are several kinds. Some find the witch hazel pads pain relieving, and extremely helpful. Preparation H recommends that in cases of pain that one wipe first with the pain killing pads, and then wipe again after a bm. I have found the witch hazel gives too much of a burning sensation, but a well known homeopath M.D. strongly recommends witch hazel as a soothing and healing substance that carries with it no negative side effects. Of course, regular nutritional support, particularly from C, is important. Good luck.
