Louise,

Your prayer book sounds beautiful. I think it's a wonderful way for you to

contribute to the church, Louise the Prayer Warrior - it has a nice ring to

it!

Sending you hugs and prayers just for you.

Heidi

P.S. I'm also very concerned about what those Cabana Boys are getting up to

with Debs away….

Hi Louise,

I'm sorry to hear about Maggie's impending operation. I took my cat, Meow

Meow (yes, really!), for a procedure not long ago and I could really tell

how mad he was. He's FIV positive, and he had a cut that got too infected.

They had to stitch it and clean it up, and put him under anesthesia for it.

I can't believe the week you have coming up. Hopefully they'll find a

different (less frightening) reason for the fluid in your abdomen than the

big C. You must be so scared. When I was 30 I had a large (4 lb) tumor in

my abdomen, and they gave me an 80% chance of it being malignant going into

surgery (hysterectomy). I had a month of waiting before they did the

surgery, and it was the longest month of my life. The world seemed like

such a beautiful place for a long time after that ordeal. Hopefully you'll

be musing on how lucky you are soon, too!

I will be adding y to my prayer list. It's better that they make sure

it's nothing serious.

My prayer list has been pretty long lately. I'll be so happy when our

little group can get back to joking around and planning our get together in

Chicago, rather than so many of our members having to go through trials. I'

ve had a couple this summer, as well. I suppose it comes with the territory

(autoimmune disease). I know they say when it rains it pours, but it seems

like it's gone from a steady drizzle to a torrential downpour lately.

Much love,

Carol

Dear Carol; Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. Maggie our goofy and

oh so lovable Lab will have a tumor removed from her mammary chain on

Monday.9 Sept.Maggie is going to be SO MAD AT ME! The last time she went for

an over night at the Vet's -she was spayed! The Vet is more convinced it is

a fatty tumor..A second vet at the office seems to think so also . I go for

the Ultrasound guided paracentesis on Thursday Sept 12. I'm the more serious

one it could be the big C.Fluid does not start to build up in your belly for

no reason. Lastly My husband y will have a cardiac cath done Friday13

Sept. NO chest pain 'NO heart attack symptoms a routine cardiac exam showed

a slight blockage in one of the larger blood vessels in the Back of the

heart. That will be done Friday 13 Sept . I just can't wait for next week to

be over! Plus the 9-11 first anniversary. It is going to be a tough and

terrible week for those remaining family members and our entire country.I

have been crying all year whenever I have seen anything posted on the

Internet and on TV. Has any one spoken with Debs or her family today?
