To all sorry I have been so bad about posting.....I have been hit by

the spring clean bug, and have been painting and cleaning out

junk....pred taper does have its uses.....I will crash after it is

done....LOL...in the meantime...

Judi:Yipee....hurrrah.....so good to hear the babies are here and the

pictures were great a big CONGRATULATIONS grandma and I hope mom is

getting TLC.......but I am sure with you as her mom she is in good

hands...once again Congrats...

Kathy in IL: I wish you the best of luck with your new job, and hope

everything works out, I will keep my fingers crossed for you...

Iris: Thanks for worring about me, but I am OK.....what is the story

on your daughter...is she home?

Lynn(MEMOM): Congrats to your newest addition, babies always seem to

bring with them such happiness.....and I love the name.....

and did you ever decide on the longer acting pain med? Is it working

out or did it crash and burn?

they find a resolution to what you have.....did they do any

scleroderma specific testing? SCL-70?

Jane: My deepest sympathy on all you have been going through......you

are in my prayers

Sue: I know it is a real pain waiting for the insurance co. to

approve the enbrel, but the bright side is you dont have to be on a

waiting list like some of us did, I waited almost a year and a half

and the other Kathe also....I agree with Kathe keep pestering....

Heidi: cant wait to see the first pics of the tadpole and dont sweat

the email at work stuff, I am sure we all understand if you dont post

from home, I worked up to the day I went in labor with Marissa, and

when I got home I just wanted to veg.....

: thanks for the info....they are sending me to MD on

the 21st for furthert testing, also saw the foot specialist and the

SD is also attacking the joints in my feet, another surgery is not an

option, that gets really old hearing that, so another suck it up and

shut up.....they have added 5mg pred a day to my home run pharmacy,

another day another pill....I was thinking of dumping them all in a

really pretty crystal bowl and at least get some enjoyment of looking

at them as a decoration...every color imaginable....nexium is the

prettiest, a great deep purple.....LOL

To all the rest of the family....hugs and a warm welcome to all the

newbies....this is the greatest bunch of people, as I am sure you

Glad to hear you are having fun with spring cleaning, Kathi. Maybe I can

catch that bug from you.

I'll be curious to hear what MD says at the end of the month

about the latest developments. What exactly is happening to your feet?

The crystal pill bowl sounds like a great idea. I'm thinking that you

could probably sell a lot of them with the right marketing.

Kathi,

Just wanted to wish you all the best for your trip to MD . I have a

friend with a different condition where they did wonderful things for him and

I pray that you will have the same results. I miss our late nite chats, my

friend.

I am in so much pain from my knee and leg tonight that I have been in tears

for a good part of the evening. I see the ortho on Wednesday and need to

discuss my REAL options. I am scared to death of more surgery, but any hopes

that I have

for walking in the future lie in the operating room. A decision has to be

made soon as my COBRA runs out in June and this surgeon is not on Ron's

insurance, plus Ron and I have reservations to take a 3 day cruise to the

Bahamas in October for our 25th wedding anniversary and I had hopes of being

able to walk a little bit on the ship even though I have reserved a stateroom

that wheel chair accessible.

My prayers will be going with you when you go to MD and I will pray

for the strength you will need to get thru those most difficult days and for

the doctors to have the wisdom and resources to help you. We still have some

getting together to do!!!!!!

I love you and miss you kiddo. Please take care of yourself and prayers on

angel's wings being sent Fed Ex!
