New. Looking for Dr in Oregon

Hello all,

I am new to this list. I live in Salem, Oregon (I have read some of

the archives and see that there are several people on this list from

Or). I have had a heck of a time finding a Dr who will even *say* the

words " Chronic Fatigue. " I have gone through so many tests - finding

nothing - even an angiogram!

I recently changed from my long-time PCP in Eugene (we just moved to

Salem after living in Eugene for 12 years) to one here in Salem. I

think that after only a few months he has given up on me, passing me

off to a neurologist (whom I know wont be diagnosing CFS.

One of my very good friends has dealt with CFS for years and finally

made me see that I have been having symptoms myself for about 1 1/2

years. I cannot work anymore; I quit school. My husband is wonderful

and trying to understand but it is difficult for him to do so.

I am wondering if anyone has a good Dr in Salem (I can travel to

Eugene or Portland as well).

I am so glad I found this list! I am looking forward being with this

group.

Hi Donna and Welcome! I don’t have a doc for you…in fact don’t have a good

one myself…so I really understand what you are dealing with. But, it’s good

to see a neurologist, if only to rule out other things. Aylwin xox
