I'm so happy you are managing to get a bit more sleep. I hope it gets

better and better, it's terrible to be tired all the time. Your strategies

seem to be working. I also try to avoid naps (only really on Sundays that I

can actually take them) but if I do there's no ways I'll sleep that night

and then I'm exhausted on Monday. My husband is busy having a nap right now

but I'm catching up with my RA family instead of joining him. It's the only

time I've had this week and I'm glad that I'll be able to have a good night

rest tonight anyway.

Well it seems all us smokers are coming out of the closet LOL! I'm setting

a quit date for stopping smoking next week, I'll let you know tomorrow what

day (talk about putting something off! LOL!) Let me know if you're going to

try and join us, maybe you could go for the acupuncture again? I don't

think I can do that here but am going to try and just stop…

I hope you have a great week in Las Vegas! I've always wanted to see it -

one day I will, and will stop off to see my RA family on the way!

(((((zzz zzzzz zzzzz zzzz Sandman hugs to you)))))

Hi Marge,

I'm so glad you had such a nice time in Las Vegas, and I'm really glad Uncle

Arthur stayed in Mich. It's great that the dr. upped your sleeping meds,

and I hope you are up to 6 to 8 hours a night soon.

Much love,

Carol

Re: [ ] a and

Hi Carol, I'm back from Las Vegas..what a city! I walked more than I

should; but took it easy..used my cane for the long walks and stopped to sit

when needed...saw the strip from a cab, sat and lost what I took to lose in

the casino....and oh yeah...went to the workshops at the conference...had a

great week, not too much pain...took extra emds while there and made it fine

on the flight...so a good week...uuncle arthur stayed in Mich....the weather

was great too...not too hot and dry....I slept better because the stiffness

was better...saw my doc today and he upped by sleeping pill...but it's 4

a.m. and guess who is up...got 4 hours instead of 2 hours of sleep...so it's

better..guess I would chalk this up as a good week...hoepfully the sleep

will continue to improve...hope you had agood week, I'l catch up on the news

in the next few days...are you doing ok? marge

Hi Heidi..congrats on the 0 smokes..way to go...I may join your band wagon

one of these days...just not got the right mind set to quit right

now...thans for the zzzzz's i'll save them for tonight...I have been

through the sleep clinic twice...very little help...they just tell me I'm

right...I don't sleep well and they are sorry I am so " verrrrry

sleepy " .tried several different sleeping pills, gimicks and apparatus' but

to no avail. I have never been a good sleeper; but unfortunately the RA

fatigue makes it worse....I count myself lucky (and so do those around me)

if I get 4 continuous hours of sleep. I have learned to be very quiet at

night so as not to wake the household...it's just that since the RA the lack

of sleep is harder to take...i'll try anything once...so I'll try your large

shipment of zzzz's tonight. keep up the non-smoking...good for you! marge
