Guest guest
Kirkman offers a pro-biotic that is inulin free, it refer's to a diet that can't have inulin, does anyone know why a person wouldn't be able to have inulin?
Guest guest
I don't know much about the specific carbohydrate diet (SCD), but perhaps it is not allowed on that diet? I also think I remember reading something at the Help for IBS website about certain fibers not being so great for IBS and I think they recommend acacia powder for a fiber source. So, maybe inulin is not so good for IBS or certain other issues (think it may be associated with bloating/gas in some people??)...... > > Kirkman offers a pro-biotic that is inulin free, it refer's to a diet that can't have inulin, does anyone know why a person wouldn't be able to have inulin? >
Guest guest
Thanks The Chewable from Kirkman has xylitol and I noticed this about the ingredients concerning cellulose and inulin. I would really prefer not to use xylitol, do you know if anyone makes a chewable with sugar? littlelief wrote: I don't know much about the specific carbohydrate diet (SCD), butperhaps it is not allowed on that diet? Guest guest
Hi Jeanie, I haven't used any chewables - I get capsules (currently using Kirkman Pro Bio Gold) & just open them up and mix into a tiny bit of apple sauce or pureed fruit (baby food). I think this is the easiest way to avoid a lot of unwanted ingredients. best, > > > > Kirkman offers a pro-biotic that is inulin free, it refer's to a > diet that can't have inulin, does anyone know why a person wouldn't be > able to have inulin? > > >
