I am going to have to go to my atlas and the library and see what I can find out about Mauritius. Sounds fascinating, and the hunting lodge and your duckpond sound wonderful. I grew up in Los Angeles, and it is so nice living in very rural southern Indiana now. I love going for walks and drives and seeing the contours of the country. We are also enjoying our bird feeders and I am learning what plants to grow to attract birds (hummingbirds) and butterflies. Good news--NO MS!! No, the falls weren't serious, just skinned knees and elbows, but scared both of us. But I still do have to see the rheumy this week and get on top of this. I have been following a very strict diet for 3 months now, with the only result being I have stopped losing weight, haven't gained any back, and it's easier to cook for Ron. Have been running a fever the past 2 days with very strong joint pains, don't know if the RA is causing the fever or vice versa--guess I'll let the rheumy tell me.
