Does anyone know of any doctors that do Vasectomy Reversals at a reduced cost? Or of groups that help couples pay for the procedure? Thanks in advance for any answers. Whitson

What area of the country? I know there are billboards for free reversals

somewhere in mid-Missouri between KC and St. Louis. When we visit our

daughter at Washington University in St. Louis, I remember seeing them both

coming and going, but can't pinpoint it to an exact location. I could ask

her to check on her way home for Christmas and call me with the name and

number. It would be around Dec. 21st... She flew home this weekend.

I must agree with Dr. Pedulla, it probably would be wise to consult a fertility oriented urologist rather than just obtain a sperm count.

The reversal may not have been a technical success. When successful you expect some spermatozoa, even if after 8 to 10 years they have been rendered non-active by the immune system. She may well (he I mean) need a urology 2nd opinion.

I have a client that married a man that had a vasectomy 10 years ago. He had a reversal in 2006 and they had not conceived a child. She came back to me for instruction, she had took the course when she was engaged before. I suggested a sperm count which they agreed to take. The results came back with no sperm. They plan on seeing the surgeon that performed the vasectomy for some suggestions. I asked them if I could pose the question to the list and they agreed. What can be done for the man that has no sperm after a reversal? They are both now practicing Catholics and want to follow Church teachings.I look forward to any suggestions for these clients.Vicki Delucchi, CFCP

And to state the obvious, maybe they had best start looking into adoption.

Thank you. I also forgot to mention of course that for any subsequent sperm counts and analyses this Catholic couple (and anyone) should be encouraged to collect the specimen using the method of the perforated condom instead of using an unnatural (and anti-physiological) act.
