Guest guest
LOL Sherah!! I invisioning you doing the "rubber ducky" walk....hehe! Sorry, but that was worth a good giggle Anyway, maybe to help answer your question.... I have done the same thing on my elliptical when I first got it......I then realized that I needed to turn the resistance down to where my level 5 (to start) was actually at, instead of where i WISHED it was at....LOL I tend to think I can do more than I actually can, and I poop out too soon. I think the 4 sets ARE important, or else surely Bill would have said "do 4 IF you can".....instead of setting it up as it is? Just a thought ~~ ps, if you are overheating, you CAN make yourself sick by drinking water in large quantities. Take it slow, youve got everything to gain (instead of passing out! eeek!) Afterward I was one rubber ducky and felt like I was overheating big time. I drank 1/2 glass of water immediately afterward which made me nauseous...and 20 min later I still feel nauseous. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I wonder if I should drink a glass of water BEFORE I start. And is it okay to just do 2 reps? I think maybe I started out too hard but it felt like a 5 to me. I haven't worked out that hard in a long time, so I know that I can work up to it. I just wonder if it's important to always do 4 sets.
