Guest guest
Doesn't DMSO dry the skin? or is there a way that I can mix it with the water so the body will take in more water? How can I keep the body from drying out in cold weather? Cheers..mj________ The age old phenomena of cold weather is that we are all experiencing dry skin, I have been very itchy lately along with everyone else I know. We do have a wood stove with a cast iron teakettle that we keep on top of it (when we use it) that helps a lot with the dryness of the air. Something about wood heat though that is so comforting. Electric is the worst for this itchiness. To prevent dry skin with the DMSO buy a food grade aloe vera, you can drink it. I buy in gallon jugs. I also buy organic aloe vera gel to mix with DMSO. When people ask me about how to use DMSO, I recommend 50% DMSO to 50% aloe vera gel, this helps the histamine reaction to not be as severe. Once used to it the strength of the DMSO can be upped. I also take internal DMSO when I'm in huge pain. I use chlorophyll gel caps to offset the smell. I still taste the fishy garlic in my mouth everytime I use DMSO especially externally. It seems to be less noticeable when I take internally, but let me tell you a couple of my friends with good noses tell me they can sure smell it even with the chlorophyll gels. I have even upped the dosage of chlorophyll when using internally. I just tell them it's the DMSO. Yes, it still bothers me to smell, but only people with extra sensitive noses (they smell everything) can smell it. Most cannot as long as you take the chlorophyll. I believe you will find the aloe vera to be very soothing to the skin, it helps alleviate much of this itchiness, at least for my family it does. Give it a try. Blessings always. ___________________
