Ascension Attitudes

Most human beings are walking through their lives asleep, creatingtheir experiences in every moment by default rather than throughdeliberate and conscious awareness. They create their reality throughtheir unconscious belief patterns and mental programs. They do thisthrough the beliefs of the surface mind, which is the conscious andunconscious mind that makes up the ego. They believe themselves to beseparate from other humans and from the Source of all that is. Theiregos use the five senses of their bodies and the logic of their mindsto make judgments and choices that direct the courses of their lives.Sadly, these choices are based on their limited knowledge and experiences. There is an all-knowing, divine part of our being that exists behindour conscious and unconscious minds. This omniscient part of us wantsto express itself through us, but our negative programs and beliefswon't allow this to happen. These programs and beliefs limit ourpotential as the creators of our reality. If we can relinquish theseprograms and beliefs and align our surface minds with our divineminds, we will unleash our full creative potential and awaken tothe glory of divine Source. There is a law of the universe known as the law of attraction, whichstates that energies, people and things of like vibration attract eachother-like attracts like. The ego mind is a powerful tool thatattracts to us the circumstances, people and things that are avibrational match to where we are vibrating at in that moment.Unfortunately, the ego is a closed system that never looks outside ofits own limited creation. People are stuck in the limited creations oftheir egos because the ego sees its own beliefs pictured back toitself. This reflection confirms the way they believe reality tobe. People become stuck in their belief patterns and won't go outsideof their box. Ascension is a conscious choice to rise above our normal way ofthinking and being in this world. It is a process of consciousevolution. Ascension is the integration of our surface mind withour divine being. It is the process of living "upward," through therealm of positive thought into the realm of feeling and then into therealm of being. This upward movement can begin exactly where you are.Let go of your usual way of perceiving and judging life and joyfullyfill your heart with attitudes of praise, gratitude and love. As youconcentrate on these attitudes, you will eventually develop a habit ofperceiving life from this vantage point. As this happens, thevibrational resonance of your life will rise and you will liberateyourself from the bondage of your own ego. You will awaken spirituallyas you discover the truth of who you are-a divine being having an egoexperience. And this truth shall set you free. ASCENSION ATTITUDES Ascension attitudes are mental tools that our surface mind can use totranscend its own limited view and rise to a higher point ofreference. The thoughts we habitually think are literally creating ourdaily reality. These habitual thoughts are our personal prayers to theuniverse. To consciously rise above our normal way of thinking andcreating, we must direct our intellect to think more positive,higher thoughts. There are three basic attitudes, also known asascension attitudes, that, when habitually expressed, will effectivelycreate ascension. These are the attitudes of praise, gratitude andlove. By holding these attitudes in our hearts and expressing streamsof thought based in them, every fiber of our being turns toward thedivine. Praise naturally develops gratitude, which develops and increases lovein our lives. We are creating our ascension when we're consciouslychoosing to perceive and praise the good in our lives. When we praisethe good, we support goodness and create more goodness for ourselves.When we express gratitude for others, we increase love in ourrelationships with them. When we express gratitude for our lifeexperiences, we bless our lives. Practicing these ascension attitudes enhances our relationships withothers. Whenever we choose to express praise, gratitude or love towardanother person, there is an increase in love. Others will perceive usas cooperative and pleasant to be with, and they will enjoy us more.These attitudes are contagious, and some people whom you areassociating with may adopt positive attitudes as well-everyone wins! Love is the essential unifying principle of the oneness of allcreation. Source is love, and when we express love, we strengthen ourconnection with Source. Love is the acknowledgment of our oneness.When we express love, we increase the feeling and strength of oneness.The feeling of oneness increases our inner peace and supports ourreunification with the divine within us. As these attitudes of praise, gratitude and love become predominant inour thoughts and feelings, they are as prayers to the divine, creativeSource of the universe.
