Guest guest
See message #5300 on May 29 '08 titled " Weird vision thing " for background. Hey I just realized I wrote that on my birthday, and this is turning into a pretty good birthday present! Yesterday I used my new eyedrop mix- with DMSO in it- several times to try to knock out this aggravating little infection. By early morning I no longer felt any irritation in my left eye but by late afternoon my right tear duct was feeling a bit irritated. This was not the same irritation that I feel when the infection blooms. Although both eyes eventually got infected it was my left that was the worst. So...this morning at about 5 am, after stirring out of bed then going back to bed, almost falling asleep again, I saw something, even in the dark with and without my eyes closed, slightly left of center of my field of vision. I quickly recognized it as the same pattern I had seen on May 29 in my right eye. A bit of winking and blinking determined that this was in my left eye. With light just beginning to creep into the room and by the light of the alarm clock, I could tell that I wasn't going blind, so I calmed myself and just laid there as it spread across my eye. By the time it reached the edges of my vision I was getting sleepy again. That was about 5:15. I dozed off and awoke when my wife awoke at 6 and I told her about it. Later, we turned on the TV and immediately I thought the color was brighter but that could've just been a change of camera or something at the TV station. When I got out of bed about sunrise and started opening blinds I could tell for sure that colors were brighter and contrast was sharper. It was not a knock-my-socks-off difference. It was subtle but noticeable. Daddybob No virus found in this outgoing message.
