Hi Everyone!

I've been catching up on the e-mails, I missed you all so much this last

week! I'm still treading water over here trying to keep up with the new

responsibilities at work plus we went out 4 times last week at night so I

really didn't have time to catch up on the posts till this evening. I've

decided I'd better do a condensed to everyone message or else I'm going to

flood the board catching up :-) so that's what I've done below. It's going

to be a very logn mail - you've all been warned ;-)

I wanted to say thanks to all of you for the great support on our giving up

smoking mission - so far it's helping!

4 days

0 cigarettes and still going strong! Whoopee!

My husband also stopped. It's been a lot easier than I imagined it would,

just kind of fight that craving feeling when it comes and after 4 days of

not touching a cigarette it's coming less and less. We've both been a bit

ratty though so a few silly arguments to relieve the stress but we both know

why so we just laugh about it afterwards LOL!

Judi: It's a pleasure, I'm glad you found the sites interesting. I hadn't

read about the newspaper/TV thing - thanks :-)

I'm so happy you are feeling a bit better, make sure you carry on looking

after yourself and let Ron baby you some more.

Don't worry I think we're all going to giggle cos we've all either done

something similar or wished we had. It can be so frustrating getting to the

doctor and not being able to " show " him what we're feeling. I'm so happy

that your appointment went well and that your new doctor seems caring and

competent.

This is great news. Now you can just calm down, take it easy and look after

yourself. I hope the flare goes away quickly.

Carol: Thanks for all your efforts for our weight mission, you're such a

sweetie! I've sent you my goal. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures -

hopefully you'll make that great African trip one day then you can come and

take your own one day!

something to keep you busy in the meantime, like volunteering or something?

come here whenever you need to vent, we all care deeply and want to help.

((((((Jan))))))): Sorry to hear about your sore tummy, and flare. Thanks so

much for the kind words and encouragement, it means a lot. I was so sad to

hear that your mother's death was so difficult, that must have been very

hard for you. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. The prayer time sounds

like a great idea - just need to figure out what 8pm your time is in my

time, maybe about 8am, which is fine.

the butt for their insensitivity, and nosiness! I agree with , you

should have charged the silly buggers, next time just tell them you have a

full team of Cabana boys supporting you so they'd better watch out. Please

let us know how you are doing. We missed you!

(((((Thanks Barb)))))))) My dog's are also like my kids, and they also have

that selective listening problem sometimes! LOL! :-) Especially at bathtime

and when the Vet comes around (he actually does house calls with us - we do

have 21 dogs after all he must adore us!)
