That's so great!!! Whooppeee!! We are knocking those monsters on the

head!! I'm so proud of you! Just remember once we've done a few days the

actual physical effects of the nicotine addiction will have worn off and

only addiction will be in our heads so that's what we've got to fight.

It's been much easier than I thought it would be, I'm finding a lot of it to

be mental. I laughed at the fruit thing, I've been doing the same thing

(after realising that I need the fruit after I caught myself eating almost a

whole jar of crunchy peanut butter out the jar with a spoon! Embarrassing

confession or what LOL!) I went straight out and bought a whole lot of

fruit.

It's weird I've also had a runny nose and runny eyes, my throat's a little

sore and it feels like I've got a few sores at the back of my tounge - I'm

going to check out the link a sent on symptoms tomorrow (Thanks a!)

but otherwise I feel great, really quiet stoked with myself LOL! I've also

been thinking of it less and less, when I do I try to take deep breaths or

run around punching the air (I get a little aggressive LOL!) pretending to

box my smoke monster! (imagine this with RA - rather hilarious, I'm sure

he's " terrified " ) Another new thing I've got going is fanaticising about

what I'm going to do with all the money I'm saving, went and bought a new

pair of shoes yesterday so spent the first months equivalent in a day LOL!

I can see this becoming a justification for a lot more retail therapy LOL!

Better chop up my credit card while I'm at it!

I went out to a dinner on Friday night and there were lots of smokers, it

was surprisingly easy - I even felt sorry for them LOL! It was only one day

and already I'd become condescending - right! Did find that my wine went

down a bit faster though - must watch that too!

I love my catterpillar already, thank you so much for thinking of me. Let's

call him " Smokey " (he can symbolise our " transformation " from grubby little

smoking caterpillars to gorgeous flying butterflies!) I'm so excited to hear

how he's doing.

I'll be sending another report tomorrow, gotta go to sleep now I've been

catching up for hours!
