Guest guest
Just a general question -- I called to set up a lab draw for testing my TSH plus other stuff for the first time since back on Armour. I told the staff person I wanted other stuff tested, and she said I would need to talk to my doc before doing the lab work to get this other stuff done. I'm not sure what he'll say when we talk, he is generally open to alternative stuff and laid back -- but he seemed uninterested last appointment when I talked about testing anything other than TSH -- I told him about my fatigue issue and will again -- that alone seems like a valid reason to do something broader, including cortisol, DHEA, etc. If he doesn't want to do these other test, my question would be why? He is not paying for them. I or my insurance pays for them, yes? so what's the big deal? I have not had anything but TSH tested for almost two years. Why not do other tests? thanks, -- Jamison Griebenow, skookie@...
