Guest guest
Another awesome success in our group! You are doing so great Stacey. Every day you make it through increases your chances for permanent success. I know you can do it. Much love, Carol Re: Smoke monster busters report! - Day 6 Day 6 Cigs ZERO!!!!!! 000000000000000000000 It has been a long day, but I GOT THROUGH IT WITHOUT A CIGARETTE. I have had some pretty strong cravings today, but I didn't give in to them. This is really tough, at times, and easy, at times. My mouth has quite a few sores in it, so the fruit is pretty much out of the question right now. It burns when I eat it. So it is Charms pops and peanut M & M's. I am going to look like a blimp before long. But I'll smell good! LOL. I have been having a bit of pain lately. Maybe that's the reason for the cravings. My feet and ankles are still swelling and get quite painful at times. I am starting to get worried that I may end up losing my feet like my gram did. Only, she was 75 years old when she lost hers. They swell so bad that the skin burns, almost like it may rip wide open. I have been putting moisturizer on it to keep it flexible, like I read on one of the links I got here, but they keep getting worse and worse. I can't get my feet into shoes and it is going to be to cold for flip-flops soon. I don't know what to do. Anyway, I did not smoke today and that is what counts. (((Heidi))): you really should try some of the links that are listed in prev. posts. They are really neat. I especially liked the one about the first two weeks and www.quitnet.com from Susie. Guest guest
Good for you Stacey. I hope you don¹t have any more of these strong craving days. Do you elevate you feet above your heart when they swell? Have you ever tried ice? Is it in the joint or the whole foot, more like fluid? a > Day 6 > > Cigs ZERO!!!!!! 000000000000000000000 > > It has been a long day, but I GOT THROUGH IT WITHOUT A CIGARETTE.
