Re: petitioning the FDA/ cold med's in children

Jeanie, I too have noticed warnings on giving cough meds to children,but are they talking about over the counter cough meds as many parents give a lot of over the counter meds to their children and not only cough meds,but herbs,supplements,vitamins and etc.Apparently the doctors didn't feel that Miralax was harming children. Who knows what these doctors are thinking. I heard they want to have all non prescription drugs including over the counter drugs,herbs and supplements to be taken over by the FDA and the FDA wants to regulate them. I belong to an organization thats fighting that every year but the FDA keeps trying to over vote it. Its scarey as we wouldn/t be able to get any med without a drs ok even an aspirin. I just got a call about voting against the FDA taking all drugs over for regulation.
