On Borrowed Time

We are here, but only for an instant.

Then like the wind we are gone.

Life as we know it is through,

As we experience the beginning of a new dawn.

It is time to travel to new places,

To experience things unseen.

To finally meet the Creator,

And understand what life means.

Each day should be lived in gratitude,

From the blessings that we receive.

We should each come to realize,

That He is there if we just believe.

We rush through the days,

Not knowing when the clock may chime,

Or when the Heavenly Father

May take our life we live on borrowed time.

Be kind to each and every creature,

Each day as you live.

Be remembered for not what you had,

But for what you were able to give.
