New to the group, doctors, insurance....

Hello all,

I am new to this group. I am a mama of two from NY and was diagnosed

with CFS/CFIDS about six years ago. I have been reading the posts and

getting alot of great information.

My question is how do you afford to see the doctors that understand CFS

without insurance? I have not seen a " CFS " doctor in some years. I have

been just working with my PCP's but they can do but so much. The doctors

knowledgeable in CFS that I have found either don't take my insurance or

don't take insurance at all. My spouse and I are independant

contractors, so the fees that doctors charge aren't an option. Are

there doctors out there that are affordable yet knowledgable? Would love

to get some guidance.
