Asthma, steriods and alcohol

Not that I was ever a big drinker before, but I am noticing more and

more now that whenever I have a alcoholic drink socially, I often feel

super hot and my heart rate goes up. It has become so uncomfortable

that I do not even want to have a drink anymore, which is a bummer at

a dinner or a party when you want to have a nice fancy drink in your

hand and that relaxed feeling that it gives you (or used to, for me).

Is this an effect from the steroids with the alcohol? Does this happen

to anyone else? It never used to be a problem so I wonder why it is now.
