Guest guest
Hi Jan, Thanks for writing and for the kind thoughts. is 9. He will be 10 in January. It took him a little while to become acclimated to the scouts but he really likes it now. He's earned so many patches and ribbons that I think it's a big motivator, which is nice. I am proud of him because he stuck through the period of not wanting to continue. He's a great boy. It's wonderful that you feel so strongly for your grandchildren. They are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful grandmother. I am sure you are a major positive influence. I try and enjoy being with both boys as much as possible. is a pretty cerebral child so I can sit and play chess with him and do other things when I am physically unable. However, when I am feeling good, I throw caution to the wind... I also believe creating a good line of communication is key. I want both my boys to be able to always come to me no matter what. You should be very proud of Richie. It sounds like he is a wonderful and compassionate child. Have a wonderful, pain free day Jan. Love, Al
