Guest guest
Hi there! Glad you are home and well and truly on the way to recovery. Please be good to yourself and do what is best for your recovery. This is coming from someone who would probably tell the undertaker to stop because I had something else to do! I just don't have what it takes to NOT do " stuff. " I've had to do for everyone else for so many years I don't think I could stop now. Was supposed to take it easy this weekend and raked leaves, cut grass, & scrubbed the kitchen floor. Well I DID have a Decadron shot Thursday & felt pretty good, but boy am I paying for it now, hurting big time, but the yard looks good! Now you do as I say and not as I do, and rest, pray, reflect, laugh, but don't work! We DO care for you, and new as I am to this group, it feels like home to me. God bless you and give you some tender angel hugs too, Judi
Guest guest
Judi Thanks for your support. I really need it. I am having some major puter problems, so I may not be on as much as usual (could be a good thing!) or may go to NO MAIL until AOL or a computer geek can resolve this. I will keep trying to let you guys know how things are going. Although, I think this last hospital incarceration may have been the last as I feel I have turned the corner on my recovery! Please be good and don't do anything that I wouldn't do! Gee, that kind of gives you a broad license! Debs out........................... Guest guest
Iris, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, good. Just what the doctor ordered & I can't hurt my knee with it either LOL..........I can't think of one doctor who wouldn't prescribe that treatment for ANYTHING that ails you. It is so good to be home and see all my familiar dust bunnies that I know by name. I am having some serious puter problems, so you may not see too much of me on line, but I will still be here and read if nothing else. I may even go to NO MAIL just to cut down on the volume, but for no other reason! Gotta get the puter fixed, lost all my old mails, address books and bookmarks, so something got it! I feel that I have really made the turn in my recovery in my knee and that it may actually heal!!!!! Love, Debs
Guest guest
Ethel, PLEASE have a safe trip! This is probably the best place for you even though Stan will be lost without you, I am sure that all my " stuff " is in the 7.0, however, I can't 7.0 to open! Something is terribly wrong and when I call AOL, I am told they are too busy to take my call, try later. At least I can read and post a little on the 4.0, but I feel so lost without everything else. I dreaded this day may come and here it is! Yep as bad as I expected. Your family doesn't know what a gem they have in you! You are a very special person, Aunt Carol and I wish all the best for all of you!!!! As you go to Atlanta, I will be seeing my ortho tomorrow AM for him to confirm what I think I already know! Have a safe trip, sweet Ethel and let us know how baby watch goes! Sending all my love, Lucy
Guest guest
Hi Lucy! When you reinstall AOL 7.0 you will find your address book will magically reappear, because they store it on their server. With the older versions the addresses resided on your own HD, so the AOL 4.0 is looking for a file that's no longer there (it's on the server). I hope that makes sense, and I hope your computer problems are resolved soon! I'm getting ready this afternoon to head up to Atlanta tomorrow. I'm going to stay with my Mom until the baby comes, then stay with my brother and family. I'm glad the knee's starting to heal! All my love, Ethel Re: [ ] Debs Iris, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, good. Guest guest
Hi Debs, I am so glad to see you post! How are you doing? I am so sorry to see you go through this horrible mess Debs. Are you still with the same physicians? Are you still fighting sepsis? I can't believe the hell you have gone through and I only pray you are on the road to recovery now. I take it you are home? on IV's? So good to hear from you but so sorry you have been so sick. I am now in FL also but outside of Tampa. Thank you for the information on ARAVA. These drugs seem to be either miraculous or nothing. What is important that Rheumatologists are not telling patients. THESE NEW MEDICATIONS CAN BE DANGEROUS.. I like many ,, am desperate for relief and have taken every new medication that has come down the road in twenty years but I think that I am paying for it now. The doctors, as my rheumatologist attested to yesterday, do not know the long term side effects of these drugs as the drugs have not been used long enough. I sincerely believe that following my taking of some of these new meds...I have reached a point where my body is showing strange reactions to everything...things I have taken all of my life are now putting me in critical care! . So For now I am on hold...watching and reading everything I can before taking the next drug. Love Joanne
