Guest guest
Hi , well that’s a big question! What a relief a diagnosis is. If you just got sick a year ago, then your best opportunity for getting better is to rest rest rest…even if it does mean being a hermit for awhile, it’s hard I know. But how you manage things now will have an effect later. Is your doc providing some treatment for you, or doing tests to see if you have any infections that are treatable? Checking your cardiac function etc? There are certainly some supplements that can support your body in getting better – fish oils, D-Ribose, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Co-Q 10, B12…all of which our bodies need extra of to recuperate. Oh, I could write a book’s worth here, but here are a couple of things to start with. Find out if you have food allergies or chemical sensitivities and behave accordingly, same for IBS. But most important is not to overdo, even if it is boring and lonely, do not exercise, and stay within your “energy envelope”. Rest rest rest! Sleep 18 hours per day if you need it. Good luck!
