Guest guest
Are you taking Elavil? It's been said on here that a rare side affect is breast enlargement. Can't say for sure but mine went from a B to DD in the 14 years or so I was taking it. Sorry that you are having to go through so much. I'll keep you in my prayers. I am having a problem with the computer at work. It won't let me send a text message whether I forward it or paste and copy or just write a new copy, Some go through from work but the greater majority do not and I can't tell until I go into my sent file. So please bear with me. Good night everyone. Sweet, painless sleep, prayers, and positive thoughts for everyone. She says that she ran all the tests for heart, thyroid, and kidney problems and they were all negative, so that leaves poor circulation. Then she did exactly what I was dreading. She prescribed " the stockings. " She also gave me Metrogel for the rosacea and acne problem that I've been having. My rheumy also said that he thinks that this is a circulation prob. So I guess I'll just have to try the stockings and see what happens. They both think that lowering the prednisone will also help the prob. I am down to 10mg/day from 25. I also found out that I have gained 15 lbs since my last visit about a month ago. I am heavier now than I have ever been. It is very uncomfortable and I think it is time to do something about it. I know that it will be hard with the meds, but I think that I can do it. Its off to the gyne tomorrow at 9:45. I haven't mentioned this prob to anyone. I don't want to worry anyone. So I decided to wait to see what the dr. said first. I have never had large breasts in my life, but with this swelling, they are a bit bigger than what I am used to. I don't want to offend anyone, but they are really uncomfortable. Now I know what it feels like. Ok, enough detail. I'll let you all know what Dr Mackay says tomorrow. Guest guest
<PRE>stacey, i am also bigger than i have ever been. but i don't think my breasts have changed. i wish you good luck there. i have been having all kinds of troubles here. (what else is new) i have no money, have a dr's visit tomorrow that i can't afford and already 6 weeks late for. i've put calls into catholic charities. the food pantry (although i know there are people much worse than me) and also for energy assistance. i have not heard from my atty yet about my appeal so i guess they are still arguing . my son, who should have graduated last june has now been told he needs to go to night school too to make up a class that is 1st semister. plus they are still saying he needs 1 1/2 credits of gym so he will be attending the full year. just makes me mad they did not give him the 1st semister class he needed. i called my insurance company and they do not pay anything for accupunture and if i want to go to a pain clinic to send in a letter of medical necessity first. i don't want to end up owing 7600 like i owe for therapy now. i told them i was very upset they let the bill climb so high before they denied it. i just got my pymt today from ssd and have about $3 to last the month. i have been suffering alot of pain in my back, neck, arms, fingers, hips, knees, ankles and feet. i have been down to 2.5 mgs prednisone. my face and neck. still broke out. cancelled my appt. can't afford it. maybe it'll settle down once i get off prednisone. my sister and my parents want me to go to florida next month. i don't travel well. they think a change of scenery would be good. also it is the " real " 50th anninversary. i want too. but life is very complicated right now. don't think it'd look good to go away. but my parents think " you just don't want too " . kathy in il

Guest guest
Stacey, I¹ve had to wear those stockings and know what they¹re like. Be happy that summer is over and you don¹t have to wear them in the heat. They¹re so hard to get on, but it¹s better than suffering the alternative if you don¹t wear them. I hope you¹ll find as I did, that they actually will make you feel better. I needed the support and found it relieved a lot of pain. Good luck tomorrow. I¹m praying it is nothing serious. After breastfeeding my children and finding out how uncomfortable large breasts are, I¹m glad I¹m not big. They were really a nuisance!
