Guest guest
Hi a, I have a dehydrator with 5 racks, and I use that to dry my herbs, veggies, fruit, you name it, even turkey jerky. Ron used to fix the peppers, but since he tests his blood sugar every day, not a good idea to handle peppers with perforated fingers! I even make fruit rollups and my own raisins when grapes are on sale. I used to make soup jars when my daughter was in grade school to give to her teachers--dried potatoes, onion, carrot, parsley, and tomatoes with some herbs, layered in a jar and attached a packet of dry soup broth. The teachers loved them! Hm, would love to talk Ron into a hot tub but I don't think he'd go for it. Happy night, Judi
Guest guest
Judi, That¹s great. I¹m sure the teachers loved the soup jars. I¹ve seen them and thought they were very nice. I¹ve though about getting a dehydrator, but figured it would be one of those things that sat on the shelf. I¹m getting a new oven after the holidays and it has a built in dehydrator, so maybe next summer I¹ll be able to try it out on some things. I¹d really like to do my own raisins. I may have to ask for some advise when I get one. Sorry Ron wouldn¹t go for a hot tub. a > Hi a, > > I have a dehydrator with 5 racks, and I use that to dry my herbs, > veggies, fruit, you name it, even turkey jerky.
