Al, I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. I know what it's like to have to wait around to find out if you have cancer or not. There's nothing more nerve-wracking. I found out in February that I had breast cancer. In March I had a lumpectomy, followed by radiation treatments. The cancer was found early, so I was very lucky. Somehow I got the strength I needed to get through it. RA had prepared me for just about anything. Let's hope that you don't have cancer. But if you do, you can get through it. Cancer can be cured these days. That's more than you can say about RA and some of the other diseases you have. It's too bad that you have to have another disease, but some of us get more than our share. I will be sending positive thoughts your way. I won't say don't worry, because I know that's impossible, but hang in there. Sue in NC

Guest guest
Hi, Al, So sorry to hear about your cousin Randi and about your unresolved medical issues. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. I think sometimes that the hardest part is waiting for results. I try when I can to live one day at a time. Today has the potential to be very special. It is bright and brand-new, unlike any other day in the past or yet to come.Today is a priceless and precious gift to me from God, and I try to live it gratefully and joyously. It is my intention and desire to experience this day --- physically, emotionally, and spiritually -- to the fullest extent of my capabilities. I try not to let the hours drag by, slip by, or pass unnoticed. Rather, I try to savor each one as it unfolds and make the most of it within the present circumstances of my life. Believe me, this is not easy for me to do. : ) Don't mean to sound preachy, Al, and I apologize if I do. I was just trying to let you know what has helped me in the past when situations become overwhelming. Hang in there, Al!!! Hugs, Joan [ ] Prayers Needed Hi Everyone, I have a favor to ask. My 22 year old cousin Randi, who is living with us, may have ovarian cancer. She will know for sure in 2 weeks but her doctors have told her it doesn't look good. Needless to say we are all pretty devastated by the news. Any prayers and well wishes would be most appreciated. I guess the statement " when it rains, it pours " really holds true at times. I hope all of you are doing well. I am doing okay. Just waiting for my own tests next week. My love to all, Al
