Guest guest
What kind of behavior issues are you experiencing? Probably NOT the kind that you guys are familiar with. (I hope!) But, here goes. Becky has trouble staying in reality and staying in the here and now. Some people would call her a "liar", but I know different. She tends to fabricate these tall tales, but they are all things that she either fears, or things she wishes would happen. Remember, this girl has Syndrome, and is NOT typically developing. These behaviors are not necessarily typical of WS kids. Also, Becky tends to think that others know what she is thinking. For example: We were walking down the Mall, and she saw a really FAT lady go by. She turned to me and said "Mommy, I'm sorry, it wasn't nice of me to call that lady FATSO". I assure her that she didn't, but she can't understand. She'll keep it up ALL day long. "I'm such a bad girl, I called the lady FATSO". Becky can't distinguish the difference between thought and reality. Sometimes she'll see a group of teenage boys, and say "how did they know my name?" When I tell her that they don't, she'll say "why did they say hi to me"?????????? This behavior makes for a very long day..........lol Please tell me that THIS is NOT the type of behaviors that Miralax causes. Psychiatrists call this "hallucination" or "psychotic" episodes. I don't know. All I know is that I want her vomiting to stop. It's been a year and a half. If this surgery doesn't stop it, I think I'll finally have that nervous breakdown. LOL ~Delicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters. Watch the video on AOL Living.
