WEll we are quickly ending day 7

AND NO POOPS!! None at all. and heck he hasn't even tried to go, not

a grunt one, no complaints of a tummy ache, and for dinner tonight he

had a full plate of spegetti, 6 whole wheat crackers, then for desert

wanted 8 graham crakers.

In the past 2 days he's had 1.5-2 tablespoons of sorbitol, mag-

citrate, kidlax, and multiple fruit smoothies with And all of this

would usually produce soo much poop that I would be literally

cleanign one end to the other of both my home and my son!! I don't

understand how it is still in there! It has to be mush at this point.

I've done tummy massages, and have prodded his tummy (like the GI

showed me) until he doesn't want my hands near his tummy, and I feel

NOTHING!!! No masses, no poop, and this child is soooo thin that if

there is poop in there (which after 7 days there HAS TO BE!!!! ) you

can feel it by touching his tummy. He doesn't seem to be uncomfy, he

is a bit lathargic though at times throughout today. at therapy his

ST said he was very quiet and not his normal chattering self. But

when we got home he has been a bundle of energy. He has played and

jumped around. Then he went down for a nap, and after he slept for

2.5 hrs, he didnt' want to get up at first, but when i went to leave

the room he jumped up. He was a ball of energy again. We went for a

long 40 min walk and he ran and jumped the whole time. Just like

normal for him

We came home, he played a bit more, sat with daddy while i cooked,

peed through his diaper and his pants (which isn't suprising since

the child has drank his normal 40 oz today, and that is no joke

either!) Begging to eat (again normal, specially when he misses his

afternoon snack like he did today) and ate well, watched blues' clues

while he sat on teh couch downing his smoothie and grahams, and then

up and playing till bath time. Now at bathtime I put him on the potty

(he normally sits there while i run his bath anyway, and the position

will sometimes help him relax enough that he will produce a BM< or

will start to try after his bath when he is in his diaper) We didi

that tonight and last night, for 45 mins each, when i asked him if he

wanted to get up he said NO! and sat there writing in his little pad

we keep at the potty, and was happy as a clam!!! YOu'd think after 45

mins he'd been nice and relaxed, but nothing!

He is tootin nicely. And there is no leaking of liquid stool. but 7

days!!! I calle his GI today, and the nurse said that since he wasn't

in pain, distress and still realitively active and eating, to keep up

the 2 tbsp of sorbitol, and mag and wait it out, unless he acted as

if he were in pain or stopped eating. SHe said that if i wanted we

could do an xray to check to see how much is in there, but she said

that it is likely he doesn't have much in there if he is not even

attempting to deficate. How can that be after 7 days!! If he doesn't

go by tomorrow, i will cancel his eval he has for ST through the

school ( again!!!! that should really piss this lady off since we've

had to cancel twice now!) and have the GI fax me a copy of labs so i

can rush him over to the local lab to have the xray done and rushed

to them.

I need your prayers that he will poop soon. PLEASE GOD PLEASE GOD

PLEASE GOD!!! I'M BEGGING HERE! PLEASE HELP HIM POOP!!!
