Guest guest
For me, I really felt the best when I was eating a high fiber, non-processed food diet. I know, easier said than done. It is very hard to do this (unless you have someone to cook for you!) when you are in the middle of some terrible fatigue or FM flare. I am NOT eating that way now & suffering for it. Hope you find something to make you feel better DonnaL > > Hi, everyone! > Does anyone have IBS and what treatment do you use that's been effective? > Many Thanks, > PJ >
Guest guest
I've had IBS problems for a couple of years. My doctor suggested I stop eating dairy (eggs are ok, but no milk, cheese, etc) and anything that has gluten in it, plus I make 1 protein shake daily with a produc by Metagenics called UltraInfamX360. This completely works for me and as long as stick to it I don't have the problem. It took about two weeks for the symptoms to go away completely. Guest guest
Hi PJ, I used to have terrible IBS, to the point of having to pull the car over and run for the bushes quite regularly <sigh>. For me, dealing with the Leaky Gut, food and chemical allergies/sensitivities through a modality called NAET did the trick. It is an investment in time, discipline, and $$$ (though not outrageous at all, about the cost of an average acupuncture session). It took my 3 years’ treatment but things are a lot better now. I once could only eat chicken and white rice, for years, without having a terrible reaction of one kind or another. NAET is a blend of acupuncture & Chinese medicine, homeopathy, and kinestheology. The thing is, it’s not an MLM miracle cure money grab. The thing is to find an experienced practitioner, just google NAET and the website has a list of all the practitioners and their credentials and experience. Look for one who has multiple layers of training and recent training too. I have tried a million other things that didn’t work, but this technique was very effective for me. It did not cure my ME, but at least I have a fairly normal diet and my IBS is about 85% better. If you cannot access someone, the next best thing is any book by Dr. Janice Joneja (PhD Nutrition), a researcher who has developed an exhaustive set of protocols for allergies/sensitivities and how to clear them, deal with IBS and so on. I actually did see her, but as it turned out I was too sensitive for even her protocols – she was amazed! Nice woman and very smart, and state of the art info and methods for working with all that stuff. Good Luck PJ & take care, Aylwin xox
