Guest guest
Sorry, I haven't posted before, I've just lurked. I've been in a really bad flare for while. I thought I was going to get some answers to whether I really had R.A or not, BUT I found out the hard way, that not all R.A dr.'s are created equal. It's amazing how we can be so distracted with pain we do not trust our gut feeling to move on right away ,from a dr. we are not compatible with. (Long story) Anyhow I need to know : How long does it take for cortizone shots or steroid shots to leave the body so that you can get an accurate reading on a rheumatoid arthritis test? I had read that it can give a false postive or a false negative. Please let me know as soon as possible. TIA, Rose
