Guest guest
I was taking a few mild homeopathic supplements for candida and for sinus congestion lately. Is this a big no no when you have any autoimmune problems? They are supposed to work by introducing extremely diluted substances like dead candida cells diluted 10x. And that the immune system recognizes the yeast and starts pumping out antibodies to kill it. Any thoughts on this stuff? xoxo Kitty
Guest guest
Kitty, I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. Homeopathic remedies aren't too widely studied here in the US, but here is a link that references several interesting abstracts. If you scroll about halfway down, there are some related to homeopathy for rheumatoid arthritis. http://www.seanet.com/~vettf/Medline3.htm The immune system is incredibly complex. So many people are studying it and have theories, but it is hard to say with certainly what approach is best. I myself am not in favor of tinkering with it if it is already having trouble.
