Hi Jane,

I can only tell you what I read as an 'aside' in a letter. The writer

explained cayenne worked to balance your blood pressure so that bleeding out

would stop. I would imagine it couldn't on a larger artery but it has

worked on: A doe who had a C-section, with 5 tears, then when I got home

with her, she was bleeding freely but could not take another stress, a buck

who was bleeding from the rectum to the point he literally gushed through

the fence (vet could not do exploratory surgery because his vital signs were

falling), a dog who was bleeding from every orifice in his body from being

run over by my tractor), a doe who was helped to deliver by a vet and was

bleeding to death from being torn, and one more doe. All of these would

have died without cayenne.
